Paradise Beach Park is a popular place to relax for residents. It is part of the San Pablo Bay and is a great place to launch kayaks to explore the bay, or bring a picnic and enjoy the views and the sunshine.
The Richardson Bay Audubon Center is a wonderful place to enjoy nature. Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary is a great place to see local wildlife such as waterbirds and Pacific herring. It has 10 acres overlooking the bay. It also offers year-round trails, gardens, and summer camps. Youth conservation leadership programs are also available to challenge young minds. Additionally, there are 900 acres of open water that is open from April 1st through August 31st which serves as a sanctuary for migrating waterbirds. Researchers visit the area to study these migrating birds.
